I belive that the tools we use play a significant part in the results we achieve along with skill, in that, dont bother including cheap AB. But, like most airbrushes with an adjustable needle seal, there is a narrow channel around the needle from the seal to the paint inlet that may accumulate paint over time. The Neo for Iwata Gravity-Feed Airbrushing Kit is designed for the first-time or occasional airbrusher. Fine atomisation is achieved with the smallest air compressors, making Neo for Iwata an affordable option for general purpose spraying and for anyone wanting to airbrush for the first time. We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. The back surface of the shaft is flat and there is an undercut in the top to allow it to be pulled all the way back.

But it was worth it as time lost cleaning and unblocking the head on the cheapo could be used else where. I've seen reviews where people claim it is just another knockoff with the iwata name but Ive owned knockoffs and they're trash compared to this. The unit has no regulator or water trap, and relies on a push button on the top to turn it on and translate through the three power settings, medium, high and low. The Neo Air is the lightest and most portable option for providing air to fine Iwata airbrushes, such as for nail art, cake decorating and model painting, or for working at low pressures, such as for cosmetics or body art.

It really is a precision instrument compared to the Chinese brushes, if not to the high end brushes. The box/instructions has no clear needle size which means you can't get replacements without guessing and hoping. They have been designed and produced by Iwata-Medea to perform well at lower air pressures when used with smaller air compressors, although siphon feed airbrushes require slightly higher air pressures to pull paint up from inside the attached bottle. This is the first airbrush I've owned with this style of lever but I think I like it more than the standard style with the pivoting pin.
