And since the UMC1820 is compatible with all popular recording software including Avid Pro Tools*, Ableton Live*, Steinberg Cubase, and others - it's ready for anything.

I run a Presonus 1824c interface with studio one v5 and have decided to expand my I/Os , for a relatively cheap fix for now I set up a Behringer 8200 8 channel pre via adat I/Os, all seemed to be working , clocked and locked nicely with the 1824c as master but on using both units to record simultaneously have discovered a bad latency problem of 40 samples between the two units ? I needed a 8-in 8-out interface (of course more I/O with ADAT) and I naturally looked at all the options from other makers, and because this was a secondary setup I decided to go for the cheap option. This Warranty does not cover any software or firmware, even if packaged or sold with the Product unless expressly provided for in any enclosed software Warranty. This is an outdated view as, with the falling cost of technology, the current products seem to offer much the same quality as more prestigious brands for a fraction of the cost. If it is just a weird compatibility issue with something , I cant for the life of me think what it was ? This one works and the minimal software worked so well with the DAW, its simple setup and minimalistic layout works for me.And since the UMC1820 is compatible with all popular recording software including Avid Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Steinberg Cubase, and others – it’s ready for anything. If the country of purchase provides for a longer statutory Warranty period, such period shall apply. Also maybe I had a setting wrong , I’m used to dealing with soundcards via software , where as the Behringer acts more like a line mixer.

Then after turning the software heaadphone to max, the big nob to max or near it , the volume was fine. To sum up, this does not look or feel like a 200-dollar interface – it is solid and packed with features. With Windows 10 and Reaper 5 you could record the audio from a YouTube video (for instance) by simply playing it with Direct Sound rather than AISO, through a Yamaha MG16XU mixer rather than a Behringer Uphoria UMC1820 I/O.I can assure you the preamps are as good as anything you'll get in the home to small project market. Only audible at higher volumes , but not high enough to avoid compression bringing it loud enough to make it unusable. the Software, which may include patches, bug fixes, updates, upgrades, and other modifications ("Updates").
